I only had one day off this weekend and I spent most of it being depressed about the Red Sox. Some people spent it finishing school, though. Happy graduation to anyone who graduated!
If you like looking at photos of athletes, you should follow the Sports Illustrated vault on Twitter. They frequently have collections of things like "athletes with boats" or "athletes spitting" or "Tom Brady's hair." And photos like this:

Here's a passage from his autobiography about being young and showing his mother a picture of the USA Today High School Player of the Year:
I saved the picture and showed it to my mother. She nodded, admitted that it looked pretty nice. Then I told her that I planned to be the USA Today High School Player of the Year. I was 14 years old and looked 12 because of the twigs I had for arms and legs. But, responding as matter-of-factly as if I'd said I wanted another piece of chicken Parmesan, she told me that was an excellent goal.I wonder how often the Jeters ate chicken Parmesan. I'm pretty sure we never ate this at my house. Thank you, Mrs. Jeter, for feeding your son well and for nurturing his dreams, and thank you moms everywhere, not just the ones that produce professional athletes.
